Exide Conservo-N55(ISS) Battery – Description

The Exide Conservo N55 ISS is a 12V, 45Ah battery designed specifically for Smart Hybrid Vehicles (SHVS), optimized for operation in tropical climates like those in India. It features Generation-2 EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) technology, developed by Exide to meet the critical demands of SHVS systems in Indian conditions, including local climate, road conditions, and driving habits.

This battery is primarily used in Idle Start-Stop (ISS) petrol vehicles and is currently not widely available in the Indian aftermarket. Do not use the following battery models as substitutes: ML55B24L, 46B24L, MLN55 or MTRED45L, as they are not suitable replacements.

⚠️ Important Note: Both Exide and Maruti Suzuki recommend using only the Conservo Series batteries in vehicles equipped with SHVS systems. Using non-recommended batteries may void warranty claims, as the manufacturer will not take responsibility for issues arising due to improper battery installation.
